First, anybody have links to a squad site(s) or other where I can get specs on the P51, i.e., MP(s), RPM settings, V speeds, approach and touch down speed, procedures etc.?

Also, with the latest patch(s) is the Kommanderant(sp) system for the 190s simulated properly?

See you online soon. Thx!

Kommandergerat simulated very well imho. Of course everything can be improved, but it is very realistic.

FW still fly better with manual pitch, especially in climbs.

Auto pitch for the FWs appears to be no different than the manual pitch setting of 50%.

In other words if you have manual pitch set to 100% and toggle the Auto pitch on and off it is the same as flying on manual pitch but switching from 100% to 50% pitch and back to 100% pitch etc.

Is auto pitch on the FWs then modeled as a cruise setting?

In my opinion, the 'auto' setting gives reasonably correct RPM/Manifold pressure settings, (FW190A5-2700/1.42,2300/1.11), at correct altitudes (I'll admit the supercharger control of historic Kommandergerat was much more complicated than in FB).

I don't have the percentage-of-power messages turned on, so I can't comment on that (I find them to be arbitrary anyway), but I will try and note the next time I have a chance. In the past, I have found prop pitch 'clock' to show different operation between 'manual' and 'auto' settings, but, it may have been wishful thinking.

As to the 'manual' mode giving more power, this seems incorrect to me, and not historic (though it has been true in the past in FB, and may still be true). Imho, higher RPM (over the rated 'combat RPM) should not increase engine output (horsepower or thrust).

As a side note, I can't prove it (I'm a poor test pilot) but I think there may be a new engine horsepower/RPM curve, at least for some aircraft, where horsepower actually goes down when RPM go over the rated combat RPM, which seems quite realistic (and important) to me. Again, it may be wishful thinking.
