I use DCG, but have 2.23. Excellent for its immersive and variety of aircraft. Also Grand Campaign means German or Allies could win Eastern Theatre (makes me truly feel like the allied pilots of the time- not knowing who will win- making me fight harder!) Will D\L 2.24 now.

p.s. You must follow install instructions properly.

UQMG is really a different kind of utility...

Necrobahn, DCG adds a really dynamic campaign, ground wars go on that really effect the overall war. Squadrons all do their own missions. Battles go on elsewhere while you fight your own. Configurable so you don`t get slowdown (more\less aircraft, etc).
The Grand Campaign`s is Lowengrins Ace as far as I`m concerned, meaning that the war could sway back and forth depending how things go. I even had one case where in 1941 we actually PUSHED the Germans back into Berlin! Although it`s very, very rare to happen.
Sometimes it`s a little daunting cos at times your mission may be completed before it starts due to other fights, etc!
Important to setup per instructions for it to work. Once done you are laughing.

Doesn't DCG compete directly with what the Scorched Earth guys are working on? Not that I'm complaining about having multiple choices of dynamic campaign generators or anything..http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As the author of UQMG I can tell you what UQMG is:

Quick Mission Generator for:
1 - Off-line Single Player Missions
2 - Coop Multiplayer Missions
3 - Dogfight Arenas

Think of an Advanced QMB that also makes Coop and DF Arenas. It is not and will probably never be a campaign generator.

As I understand, DCG is a Campaign Generator. A completely type of application.

So I don't think you can really compare both, in my humblest opinion.

Thnx,UberDemon. Yea, that`s what I thought, but wasn`t sure.

Now what`s this Scorched Earth thing I`ve heard about? Is that a dynamic campaign generator as well?

I don't think they compete.

Scorched earth is designed for online play (although it could work offline) - these tools are more designed for single player offline campaigns.

It will be nice when we have a online campaign - not just for the virtual wars, but also for squadron vs squadron ongoing war capabilities.
