Uh, one question, why would anyone want to use a joypad with the game? I like it the way it is, plus I remember someone back in Feburary posted how to make one work. All he had to do was change quite a few settings in the configuration file, and vola, it's working. I prefer the mouse and keyboard any day.

My system:

AMD XP 3000+ (no overclock yet...)
1 gig of Corsair DDR PC2700 RAM @333Mhz
Radeon 9800 Pro video w/TV out core @434, mem @720
Windows XP SP 1
Microsoft Directx 9.0b
Antec TruePower TrueBlue True480 PSU
16x Antec DVD drive
24x10x40 Plexwriter CD-RW
1 Westerndigital 40 gig harddrive, master
1 Westerndigital 100 gig hdd, slave
Asus A7V600 VIA KT600 mainboard, 4-in-1 4.48
Thermaltake Aquarius II liquid cooling system

since i dont have a XBOX or a PS2 i cant play the game without a joypad unless i edited the PC version and i prefere the joypad to a keyboard because its easyier to use. and since i wasnt part of these forums in Febuary i dont know anything about someone else doing the same thing.

Yeh, but no one else put it in a zip file for others to download. That's what I like.

I guess everybody has their own preference. Mine is keyboard and mouse because it's easier to use for me.

Hey, joypad sucks, i like keyboard and mouse better. Just my opinion.

Well I am left handed
I use the mouse with my left hand and find it near impossible to use my right hand to control the directional keys.
I find it disorientating - I fail to understand why UBISoft hadn't at least made Splinter Cell Gamepad compatible for those that have problems playing with Keyboard/Mouse

LOL /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

But seriously before I had my own PC - I used to always go to my Local Internet Cafe - and everytime I had problems using the mouse because it was on the right hand side of the keyboard and there was no way to pull it over to the left side because the leads were fixed to the desk.

I have tried to play games with Keyboard and Mouse but I just lose Orientation and end up going left when I should go right ect.

Splinter Cell is an Awesome game and I can kinda play it with Keyboard but I do have to use my left hand to control both Keyboard and Mouse which slows gameplay somewhat.

Gamepad is my preferred choice and I hope I can figure out how to enable it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
