If For Honor uses the same servers as rb6, is the online functionality of this game doomed before release? Seems this game will need to have hit reg on point or the whole melee thing will be spotty and frustrating. Hope I'm wrong but those servers can barely handle 5v5, how do think it will handle 4v4 with ai bots?

Not really.

The server during the technical testing were perfectly fine.

..., I am not going to say anything about the technical alpha, but I don't think you should use the server setup of the technical alpha as an example, I don't think we will end up with the same setup, even if they use the same servers we don't know how well they would handle the extra amount of people at the release of the game.

Anyway, I don't know what problems RB6 has, but I don't expect high pings in For Honor, maybe some queues the first days, but not major problems.

I haven't played R6:S on the Xbox for a few months but when I did play they weren't bad. I remember I had a friend who dropped sometimes but he does that in every game. I also heard that in the beginning the servers were indeed trash. Are they better on the PC now?

Regardless, I agree that servers are my only concern at the moment. While there are a few things I'd like to see in the game they can wait so long as the game is smooth.

Jokes aside, I agree with Willow.

Yes I have. I'm sorry I wasn't sure where people will see it more. Much smaller than the rb6 forum so I did it in both. But this is a big issue for me. Coming from rb6 on ps4 I can tell you the servers for rb6 are not that great. I love the game but it is becoming more and more frustrating with the online portion of the game. Which is all of it! Hit registration and pawn rotation in this game will be huge. If it is anything like rb6 it will make things spotty at best. Melee fights need that stuff on point.
Hope the single player is good cause the multiplayer aspect will probably have issues and it's nearly a yr since rb6 came out and it has done nothing but get worse after just about every patch. Hope I'm wrong but this is the same team that worked on rb6. Granted I hope they weren't the ones that decided these servers are just fine. They are not.
