Hey all.

So as the previous post was my last AC post for a considerable while (really, with possible exception of the movie, don't plan to write anything AC-related until next year or later), I thought it would be fitting to gather ALL the AC posts that I've written in the past years and share with you one last time, so to speak. Maybe you've missed something what you'd find interesting, or maybe there's something that you didn't know about at all, or I dunno maybe you would just like to read it again :D So, here we go.

The Series Breakdown Era
So this is my latest AC series where I'm going indepth into a topic based on or inspired by each of the AC big open-world console titles.
- HUD-less Design of Assassin's Creed 1 (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2016/03/02/hud-less-design-of-assassins-creed-1/)
- How well missions use open-world space in Assassin’s Creed II

(https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2016/08/10/the-disunity-of-assassins-creed-unity/)- Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and Good Open-World Collectibles
(https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2016/08/23/assassins-creed-rogue-and-good-open-world-collectibles/)- Why Assassin’s Creed series isn’t social stealth, and what to do about that? (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2016/08/28/why-assassins-creed-series-isnt-social-stealth-and-what-to-do-about-that/)

The Intermediate Era
This was the time when I didn't really know what to focus on in terms of blogging, I had a bunch of posts started but just a couple of them finished, so there's no real theme to anything, but I still think these are some neat posts there :D
- Assassin's Creed II - Sequence 9 (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/11/01/assassins-creed-ii-sequence-9/)
- Assassin's Creed II - Plot Pacing (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/11/05/assassins-creed-ii-plot-pacing/)
- Assassin's Creed Series Stealth Viability Analysis (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2014/09/22/assassins-creed-series-stealth-viability-analysis/)

The AC3 Level Design Era
This was my first real blogging experience, and, honestly, I can't read it again, I just facepalmed myself every time I tried to read these and closed everything. That said, you seemed to like them, and I hope that my opinion of these posts doesn't mean that they're bad, just that I've grown as a game designer and as a blog writer.
- Assassin's Creed III - Battle of Bunker Hill (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/09/assassins-creed-iii-battle-of-bunker-hill/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Public Execution (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/10/assassins-creed-iii-public-execution/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Lexington and Concord (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/12/assassins-creed-iii-lexington-and-concord/)
- Assassin's Creed III - The Tea Party (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/14/assassins-creed-iii-the-tea-party/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Chasing Lee (and Parkour Mechanics Analysis) (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/17/assassins-creed-iii-chasing-lee-and-parkour-mechanics-analysis/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Father and Son (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/02/20/assassins-creed-iii-father-and-son/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Lee's Last Stand and the Combat System (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/05/19/assassins-creed-iii-lees-last-stand-and-the-combat-system/)
- Assassin's Creed III - Hostile Negotiations (https://stanislavcostiuc.com/2013/05/28/assassins-creed-iii-hostile-negotiations/)

And this is it. I would like to thank you all for reading these posts and providing feedback and instigating interesting discussions. You're pretty awesome. :) :o

And while AC blogging is behind me, I'll keep blogging on other video game topics, so feel free to visit my site any time you like and I hope you'll enjoy what you'll find there.

Cheers, everyone!

Assassin's Creed Blog Posts: Remastered :p

Curious why you're embarrassed about the AC3 posts. Is it simply that your writing style has changed or do you now disagree with what you had to say about the mission design back then?

You beat me to it!

Farlander, that is an impressive body of work. I've read some but by no means all, so now I have a table of contents to follow.

Well, both to be honest. My writing style did change, and back then I was very... how to put it... 'dreamy' about level design, not taking into account a lot of production factors and the fact that a lot of times the best design comes from limitations and the context of how you place that design in those limitations rather than just 'this would've been awesome and this is how it should've been'. I still agree with myself about a bunch of points, as you can notice from my last AC3 post, but now I'm also smarter :D

So... resurrecting this thread a bit :p Just to mention that there's a video version of one of my blog posts now, regarding HUD-less design of AC1. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k8yFBmA6KQ)

(and yes, mic upgrade is on the way, I just didn't want lack of tech be an excuse to make videos anymore)

Enjoy :)
