I've just had enough with Ubisoft! All these connection issues are unacceptable! I did everything I can to solve this (even though it's their job), but I just cannot play Assassin's Creed 3 online. And why the hell do I have to download Uplay even though I bought the game on Steam? Your service is lousy, unreliable useless! Shame on you, Ubisoft!
