I just moved on the 5th....The new place is nice...I miss by FB sessions though..I am going through some serious cold turkey. The move was tough...no movers just me and one friend till almost the end. I am talking 6 rooms of furniture here....wall sized stuff...Arggghhh.. At least my computer is now on the desk...still no hookup yet though. I am using my laptop to check for the patch. Between the move and my second job I am about to colapse..... My HD (honey do..)list grows longer every second. Well the upside is that npow I have the room to build a nice pit in a few months...after all the painting and un packing is done. Of course the plan was to paint before we moved in but you know about plans...LOL.. Happy Hunting all!!!

Good luck with the move BC, I feel your pain. It will be worth it when you're done. No wonder you had a mean-on last week. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I take it you have never seen hell. /i/smilies/16x16_robot-surprised.gif

Anyway I feel your pain since I have moved regularly throughout my life. I am quite anxious now because I am married and am coming up on 3 years in my current apartment—we have accumulated some stuff. We see that we're going to be getting rid of a lot of things since it is likely that we are going to change continents. We'll see.

Just take it easy and concentrate only on the task at hand, don't think about all that you have yet to do. If I could, I'd come help you paint. Have fun building that cockpit. /i/smilies/16x16_robot-happy.gif

Cheers,
Mike

Be thankful you don't live in my town, there's a major housing crisis and the landlords have gone bonkers here so if you think moving is hell, try finding yourself a decent home for a decent price...Now THAT is hell

Right now you're better off staying where you're at for at least 5 years.

Moving always leaves me thinking "Why do I have all this ****" /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I live a sparten life, I'm single, only have the basics. I moved 25 miles to a new town last year. Just me and my volvo. Back and forth 6 times LOL /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif .

My sympaties too, we just moved again, one every year for the last four years, the last two times 400 miles apart, the last one I did basically myself, 3 bedroom house full of stuff (and we are minimalists (i throw things away all the time and get busted) (my wife packed, I loaded, drove to mini storage, unloaded (one trip in a 20 footer), then two trips 400miles up and 400 back in a f150 packed full each time.

Before that got back from Russia and had to move South 400 miles (had my brother that time thank god).

Now in another 2 months will move back down (only took the essentials up for the summer, but without broadband and my gaming computer is offline /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif )-I totally feel for you man!

Wish I could have helped
