S!

True..felt a bit annoying to setup a perfect bounce from the sun just to hear my squadmate on TS saying: I do not see U but hear U clearly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif U can also hear distant MG fire into cockpit on the ground etc.

Yep, yesterday night, I was boom and zoomed by a very good 190 pilot. I never saw him, but I heard him coming. Not good for realism!

Take a Me-163 Komet and switch off the engine. You can hear the defensive MG's of the B-17 bombers for more than 3 Km. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/53.gif

Close your eyes, and you got an submarine simulation as well. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I can't say I have noticed it, I've been bounced and I have bounced others .... although I must admit I haven't bounced as many as I used to so maybe they hear something and I don't.

EDIT: well it turns out that some people do hear other planes so I started a poll in the GD room to see how many do.

As to gunnery passes, the best was when you dived with speed, made one pass, shot an opponent down quickly, and pulled back up..... The secret was to do the job in one pass; it could be from the side or from behind and I usually tried to open fire at about 150 feet.
