For those who may be interested in WW2 strategic bombing by RAF and USAAF bombers, I greatly recommend "The Battle of Hamburg" from Martin Middlebrook.
I´m a great fan of Mr. Middlebrook, and I must say that this book is one of the greatest I´ve ever read on this subject. The accounts are very detailed in every aspect, going from bomber crews to civil population in Hamburg, through German night fighter pilots, flak crews, etc,etc,etc...What I like most are the personal accounts from survivors...Man, so impressive at times!

Enjoy!
