Hello,

I've just started playing this game again and role-playing "dreyer versus. Hartman". You can view my progress here:

<A HREF="http://www.dreyermachine.com/il2/" TARGET=_blank>http://www.dreyermachine.com/il2/
</A>

I've decided to post tracks of all my sorties so if you are in need of semi-skilled online LW tracks to view you can download them from my website. I remember I always struggled finding quality ONLINE tracks to view when I first started.

Bye,

Regards,
dreyer

Will be watching your progress.

As an offline only player your tracks are fascinating for me.

Yeah, you're right about tracks being hard to find. The only reason I tolerate viewing people's crappy sigs around here is because there's sometimes some linkies to cool trackies. I'm a fan of watching a good track for the cinematic experience and the voyeuristic qualities. Sometimes I learn a thing or two as well.

More tracks (http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/il2guide/tracks.htm)

Training tracks require some file editing to be viewed as training tracks. Instructions are available on Mike's web page (linked above).

Dreyer, I've watched the first track from the 31st. The main comment I have is about the sus cloud issue you brought up once the fight was over. Although that Mig15 guy seemed to stay on your tail through the clouds, you tended to fly straight paths through them most of the time, not taking the fullest advantage. Someone following you in would only have to resist the urge to second guess your course and remain straight and true to come out behind you. Unless of course the clouds are in different positions during playback (which I know can be true for *.trk files, however I don't know about *.ntrk), in which case I'm not in a position to judge.

Hello Longjocks,

Well I'm not sure about the clouds issue. But as I recall while flying he was shooting me while I was in the middle of a cloud as well. Even if I fly somewhat straight paths (however I did bank to either side slightly most of the time but I don't want to burn energy in a tight turn) I find it very unlikely that he would shoot and hit me with such accuary in a cloud. At least I've never ever been able to do it.

Hahaha, did you notice how pissed off I got though? I was just spraying him like crazy and almost screwed up wasting ammo. Don't fly angry ;(
