Recently I was reading the "The Evolution of the Present Day" article when I saw this image of Bishop from a screen shot of the Assassin's Creed Syndicate:

Here is the picture: http://i.imgur.com/E0wTWS3.jpg

Behind Bishop there is a world map with Assassin Insignias and Abstergo Industries Logos showing us the locations of facilities of both organizations. Bishop is showing this to us the Initiate. Isn't this a clear breaking of the 3rd tenent of the Assassins???

Looking closely one can see that there are known and unknown locations of Assassin Cells and HQ. You can see the Tromso Submarine Base which is William Miles Base, the Osaka Cell, the Sao Paulo HQ theParis HQ and one unknown cell or HQ in Nigeria. Also you can see an Assassin Emblem in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, which I believe is the Altair II as there are no islands there.

There are actually islands there, look up Sanata Cruz das Flores. It likely is Altair II, which means she could be compromising the brotherhood. Though I'd assume the initiates were watched and researched before being called upon.

^ The Azores are not located in that area, in fact you can see the Azores islands in the map above the red circle.

The Initiates are us, the players. Regular shlobs who just bought a video game. Suddenly a random woman hacks into our game and tells us "BTW, we want you to join our super seekrit club". Then she proceeds to show us this map of the locations of their bases, lmao. Another reason why this whole "you are the modern day assassin" shtick doesn't work long term. If the narrative they're trying to sell us is that we, the player, bought a game that was made by Abstergo and otherwise everything else about our lives is the same, then boy, the assassins are going to be pretty disappointed when they meet me.

Eve, I mean - Bishop, clearly doesn't care for the Creed. :p

Also, she's hiding in plain sight - in front of a camera. lol

That doesn't necessarily negate the argument that Bishop and Co did research into potential Initiates though. I mean yeah, she supposedly just hacked into a player's game, but presumably not EVERY player's game, otherwise she would have been broadcasting the super seekrit club's existence and location to the millions of people who bought the game, presumably including Abstergo employees :p I think there's only supposed to be a handful of "Initiates," embodied collectively by all the players.

Don't get me wrong, I think the whole "you are the character" thing is stupid as hell, I'm just playing devil's advocate here.

To be fair, in Syndicate out Initiate is fully aware of the Assassin v Templar conflict and is already sided with Assassins (and Unity is where that siding happened), and our Initiate is a trusted source by that point, so I don't think that Brotherhood was compromised.
