View Full Version : Autopilot Bug?

Im a bit frustrated whenever I set the a/c to autopilot and then switched to external view only to find out when I return to the cockpit, the auto pilot turns off itself.

And also I noticed that it's way too often the autopilot took too long to take the plane back to its plotted course after I strayed away from the intended flight path.

Any help please?

Toggle the 'Level Auto pilot' http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Tully reminded me in this Thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=49310655&m=848101065)

Wow, thanks for the fast reply B16Enk.

Actually I asked about level autopilot several days ago cos it wont work in FB like it was in original IL2.

Now I know. (A bright ray of light from above shining down on me... lol) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

"Toggle Level Autopilot" works like it always did, but "Level Stabilizer" has changed. Neither name resembles the functions they're supposed to perform http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

S! Tully. Does the change in level stabilizer in FB means that it's deleted? I know I asked this before but i just need another confirmation. I got reply that it's still available only in bombers...

Cos it's one feature in original IL2 that I missed most, and I rarely flew any bomber at all http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/cry.gif

I have no idea, I just know that my housemate complained bitterly when it was changed http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Personally I don't fly medium/heavy bombers, so I never used it.
