Thought everyone would find this interesting- a Wildcat was pulled from Lake Michigan and flew for the first time today.

pretty cool. I live in Chciago, and I've seen documentaries about the practice carriers they had in Lake Michigan. There are quite a few planes down there (hellcats, wildcats, SBDs and even corsairs) and this isnt the first that has been pulled up and restored.
