Its not butter...

I guess the remainder got 1 2 or 3 tanks, some none.

check this site out
http://www.luftwaffe.cz/stormovik.html

Oblt. Otto "Bruno" Kittel had 94 il2 sturmovik kills his total kills were 267, hes only been shotdown once from flak. real guncam footage of sturmoviks bursting into flames from 2-3 cannon hits is called propaganda footage, and thats real guncam.

You mean, they don't absorb your whole magezine, then evade you by flying through a brick wall?

But seriously, are there any of these online?

i have seen guncam footage from a il2 strafing german troops and all the sudden he got hit by flak in his wing and wow he was blown in to scrap metal
im not sure if it was 88mm fire but it looked like it considering the huge explosion around his plane

but that was propaganda LOL
but anyway i dont think a il2 will survive a 88 hit in his wing from so close and low on the ground http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Actually killing tanks in WWII was very difficult. Results of post D-Day anti-tank operations showed that aircraft had more psychological impact on enemy tanks than had actually completely destroyed them.

If they killed 5 tanks AND 5 planes...does that make them a double ace?

Well, the total is almost 700 tanks. Not bad. Compared to LW stats it doesn't seem like a lot. But then any other stats don't seem like a lot compared to the LW. The Sturmovik got a big reputation boost post-war. Naturally, to the victors go the propaganda. But it's generally known that the Sturmovik did not live up to it's "super tank killer" rep. It did it's job and I'm sure it destroyed lots of trucks, other ground targets and shot up lots of troops.

As for it's toughness, even though the LW fighters dubbed it "the concrete airplane" I remember seeing somewhere that it was the most shot down VVS plane. How much is from enemy a/c and how much from ground fire I can't say.

What's interesting (and I pointed this out in the Most Underrated Plane of WWII thread) is that the Stuka, which has the undue popular misrepresentation of being "obsolete" at the start of the war was actually the all time champion of tank killers. And always will be.
