View Full Version : Music for FB; how to do it?

I understand about where to put music files for FB to get the desired musical tracks to play during takeoff, flight, etc. But what I'd like to know is how do I use music from my own CD collection to use? Do I have to rename or reconfigure the saved tracks or use a 3rd party conversion software? I have Real Player and Windows media Player loaded on my PC and use these to save tracks from CDs to either make new ones or to listen to while surfing the web or doing office stuff. But it would be nice to use this same music in FB

I'd really like to use music from Band of Brothers, LOTR, The Last Samurai or other soundtracks.

Thanks,

Johann

IIRC from the various ReadMe files, FB only recognizes .wav files (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). Although the process of converting to .wav files is one I'd like to know "how-to" also.

whatever sound player you have, be it windows media player, audigy or what ever, rip songs fron cd to hard drive, and make player save it as wav file, you will have an options drop down somewhere in you inter face.
