Why is it that when you are below the games high altitude clouds, you can see them. When you pass above them, they disappear?

At the very least, should be able to see a mirror image of the bottom when above them.
Thanks.

Some clouds are so wispy thin you can't see them against the ground when above them. I don't see our FB high altitude clouds as being this thin however. A good, and rare, Question about FB clouds. Thanks Equilizer. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

My Whine is about the 1km thick mist that passes your canopy while you fly between 6800m and 7800m. This mist is supposed to represent flying inside those high thin clouds....they are thin not 1000m thick!! The high altitude clouds that FB simulates should be maybe 200m thick at best.

Also the mist, being a solid 1km thick, is an overkill immersion killer. 200m thick mist is all that is needed.

Settings are on detailed clouds, but I have a feeling you don't understand what cloud layer I was talking about.

I'm talking about the ones that are in all weather conditions at around 6000+ meters.
