And in this "fbvwps.cfg" I belive certain lines could be switched around to change/fix the problem but im not sure wich ones here is the settings within "fbvwps.cfg" .........

Just curious, as u can use that microjoy in that throttle in mouse emulation mode, why use POV hat there for more than extra buttons?

It should be obvious. CH considers up as what you call right.
Reorient your view so that up is in the direction the throttle moves. (forward)
Or just reassign the hat switches in FB to new definitions.

Locust, I think Max is quite correct on this one. The CH is just plain different from the way you look at a hat switch. Actually, it makes sense too, the default UP you pull straight towards you, and rock the thumb right and left for the wing views. Remember, you are probably thinking of using a hat on a normal joystick which sits upright compared to a throttle which faces at a 90% angle compared to the stick being vertical. Heck, when you think about the way the whole thing is setup it's really logical to pull straight back to look up... the same as you would do to the stick. Pull it straight back. All the best, LongHorn

In Newview you can change the POV inputs so that for example POV left is up, POV down is left, etc.
But since you are using FB View Plus I'm not sure how to change it. However since these 2 programs are quite alike AFAIK, there will probably be such an option in FB View Plus as well.

If I had that problem, I'd probably disassemble the thing and rotate the switch 90 degrees clockwise, or maybe resolder the wires in a different pattern, all shifted clockwise.

Maybe calibrate the controllers within CHManager and point them in the direction you want them to work in, Maybe??

I have the same Throttle. I'll check it out tonight.

I don't use FBVP but I do own the same CH throttle......so try this:

Go into your CH Manager and click on the POV button (as pictured in your first screenshot). Uncheck the box that says 'Use as POV'. Make sure the 'DirectX Mode' box is checked.

Now, make sure the 4 view positions are correctly assigned in relation to the key commands in the FB 'Controls' screen.

-12 o'clock should be your Look Up command.
-3 o'clock should be your Look Right command.
-6 o'clock should be your Look Down command.
-9 o'clock should be your Look Left command.

Download the map and see if it works. If not, go back and re-check the 'Use as POV' box, download and try it again.

If that still doesn't work, try rotating your throttle 45 degrees clockwise and that should do the trick...http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Good luck.

Good Try Aviar Ive tryed that already But

#1 If I uncheck POV box in CHCM then FBVP dosent recognize the POV Hat.

#2 The way FBVP is writen as a program it is circumventing the Control setup within FB.

FBVP Actualy clears all Views within Settings.ini (thats in FB Game) & wrights its own Config [fbvwps.cfg]

This fix has to be done thru the fbvwps.cfg Ive already tryed EVERYTHING else, I need someone who can tell me wich part of this fbvwps.cfg to edit to fix the problem.......

Why cant we just have this View system (Like Lockon's)within the FB sim, Instead of strugaling with 3rd person utilitys That dont alwayes work for everyone.......

I mean what the hell pan & snap views are very unrealistic!!!

Lockons headmovement viewsystem is very nice Im sick of snaping my neck around like a robot Oleg please Impliment Natural Headmovement like these programers made but within the sim FBACES

OLEG Just look @ FB Viewplus or Lockon the headmovement is so NICE & Smooth & Natural this snappy **** is OLD STYLE 1970's, Lets get into 2004 PLEASE !!! Not to sound abrupt but im plain sick of not being able to see what others can with TIR & the guys who can use these 3rd party Utilitys Some of us cant because of the problem in the first post, If Oleg made it built into FB then I could program my stick POC to use it how I Like, and how so many others would Like PLEASE !!!

Yes I agree but I also Feal that AFTER so many patches that Oleg or someone could impliment Natural headmovement Like LOCKON Has but within the actual sim not a 3rd party utility, Realy think about it these SNAP & PAN views are realy anoying theres spots you cant see in because theres no incrimental movement like the mouse

LOCKON took the MOUSE movement (Natural head movement) & made it so you can program it onto the POV hat as it should be thus giving all players the ability to see what the TIR guys are seeing, Oleg finaly gave us the Linda blair view for all users, when will he give us Natural headmovement FB Viewplus & FB Newview attempt to do what Lockon Did within that Sim Give us natural headmovement not this snappy crappy Views..... Im sick of that Please Oleg make it as it should be like how the mouse looks but on the POV hat Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Locust-I'm still not sure how you got your POV hat working backwards-- does it do that in other games & flight sims or just in FB?

On my CH throttle hat, pushing it up gets me the left (or 270 degree) view, pushing it down gets me a right side (90 degrees) & I assigned tthe forward view to Look Front up on all my controls menus in FB.

If all else fails, just reassign the views in the Controls Menu. You can add the Look Up view to another button at say, your pinkie finger (button four on the throttle) and by pressing it while manipulating the POV hat, you'll raise your FOV 45 degrees. That allows you to cover most of your views out in Cockpit mode.

Horseback, If I DONOT USE "FB VIEWPLUS" My POV hat is fine, because I can program through
"Ch Control manager the commands I want where ever I want them, so I put KP8 on POVUP etc etc etc.....

BUT when you use the utility called "FB Viewplus" it bypasses all of the "INGAME" settings infact it clears them totaly from within FB, that means there is no COMMAND TO program/map within "Ch Control manager"

Also FB Viewplus WILLNOT recognize the POV hat on my throttle unless I tell "Ch Control manager" to use the POV hat AS a POV hat then "FB Viewplus can see it"

Normaly when Im not trying to use FBVP I program my POV hat through "CHCM" and make it a 4 way switch (basicaly four buttons) wich I simply asighn KP8,KP6,KP2,KP4 to where I want them on the POV (switch)

Horsback it all has to do with FB Viewplus the way its writen Forces POV_Up to be Look_right etc etc....

Try reading the first post again, I thought I made it as clear as posibal, thats why I used the screenshots of Ch control manager to illistrate the problem....... Maybe I should have used the FB Viewplus program Gui & took screenshots of that but in essance it would be showing the same thing, If I press UP while using FB Viewplus it looks RIGHT, NOT UP etc etc...... Its that simple

Definition of special rudder.....

I use the lil mouse on the ch throttle as an analog rudder & through ch control manager I can force it to use 70 percent of full rudder or whatever amount I like I like to have a 55% rudder & a full rudder I dont have any pedals so i dont have full control of rudder http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif so i use my LOL Special rudder its not all that special just less than full rudder
