Some country's laws prohibit them so they're off by default in the game. You can find a couple of different ways to enable them, mostly involving the use if programs like IL2Manager or IL2Stab.

I use IL2Stab to get the forbidden signs on default skins. I assume you must use something like this unless you have an original Russian version of the game - which as I understand it did not block the swastikas Some of the German skins which ship with the game, however, don't have swastikas, period. This is incorrect. All German planes had swastikas on the fin/rudder. Maybe only the Go-229 might not have them because it lacks vertical tail surfaces. WE have no way of knowing what the paint scheme would have been, since the only surviving v3 was unfinished/unpainted at capture - and I don't believe we have any photographic record of what the v2 had for national insignia.

I wonder if these are original markings or added later?

Cool pic of the Go229.
http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gifBelive i found what was cause the differing tail graphics. i had FB installed with the hakencross mod install. when i went to buy AEP i got the gold pack. it was only $10 more and i figureed what the dif it be good to have a extra copy of FB just in case. i unistalled the original FB and install the gold pack. yet i still had the hakencross shortcut on my desktop.I had 2 shortcuts to AEP and clicked different ones each time i played. So either the hakencross mod folder was left on my computer after the uninstall or else the hakencross mod is loaded with gold pack installation.
thanks for replys!!!!!!!!
