I just purchased the ace expansion pack, and I read that there's more dynamic campaigns in the manual. Well, I havent noticed any campaigns for the Japanese or American sides, only a few single missions. What gives? I was seriously looking forward to playing a Japanese or American campaign. It seems they are nonexistent. Also, I went ahead and played a Japanese single mission and there werent even any Jap voices just the words on the screen. Ya know, when the pilots give vectors. Seems like there's still alot missing here, or am I missing something?

Yeah, I thought the AEP should have more stuff for $30(FB was only $20). If you want US or Japanese campaigns...

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/51.gif Meal for small family at MacDonald's which is forgotten half an hour later = $30.00 (and the whines could still go on forever)

AEP for hours and hours of entertainment = #30.00 (and the whines go on forever).

It`s obvious ppl forget 29 new flyable planes.
Campaigns aside, this is a rather online playing game.

Uhhhhh.....Actually, I wasnt whining, I was just asking a question. Sorry for asking, sheesh. I like the game just as much if not more than you do. Just wondering, because it did specify that there were more dynamic campaigns and thats what I was looking forward to the most. Also, about making campaigns, everyone doesnt get into that, I usually leave that for the folks who know what they're doing.

Faceless, it's all good, my brother. Many of these old characters at this forum have been watching this game develop more planes and features for some time. These things will come, and in fact, I just purchased another new add-on called Battle over Europe (from JustFlight) which does have American campaigns for P47 and P 51. It is cool, too, but again, everything has its (current) limitations and you cannot have, for example, a P-38 career at this time. These things will appear and there are some extremely talented (Extreme-One, Poymando) mission builders who have added really GREAT stuff to the game.

Welcome to the forum!

THanks. I just downloaded those campaigns that I heard about and I'm going to install them now.

If your CPU can handle the number of a/c, BoE is a pretty good source of USAAF campaigns. But they were built on FB 1.22, not AEP. Just Flight promises a patch sometime after AEP is released in Europe. By that time, of course, 1C will be offering their follow-up patch.

The point is this: One of the positive things about this extraordinary sim is that the options keep expanding thanks to the ongoing contact 1C maintains with its customer base.

It's good fun -- patching, downloading, uninstalling and reinstalling the programs. And the results are constant improvement. But it does seem to take time to keep up and get it all.

BTW, welcome to FB simming.
