In some journalmovies I have seen has there been enourmus smokestacks from bombing, burning, etc. During the terrorbombing days the pilots orientated by theese pills of smokes.

A tank mostly didnt blew up within seconds it burned some time before the fire reached the ammunition.
Cars and trucks toarched and smoked for some time too.
The function is in the game, a crashed airplane is burning for quite long time.
Ships could burn for hours.
Why dont add this function to groundtargets. It would be easier to give tell where the targets are if a car-column is burning along a road, if some buildings near an artilleryposition is burning in a city etc etc.

This was already featured in EAW, to some degree, with a nice smokestack above a downed wreck or destroyed tank/collumn...

i really like the idea...

there is thick, black smoke that rises from destroyed vehicles already. Maybe you havent noticed it. Straffe a train or vehicle column and watch. Little men run away from the column when you straffe too, cool stuff.

The smokestacks last so short time. A downed aircraft can burn for a long time, A tank/truck should burn little longer.
I enjoy seeing the soldiers abandom their wehicles a very very good detail. Sorry their ar so few horsdragged carriedges.

Infantry 'abandon' vehicles, yes, but answer me this, when u make a strafeing pass on a single truck and infantry 'bail' out, how comes that if you miss on the first pass the truck still drives along, and on your second pass more infantry will jump out this happens every pass until the truck is destroyed, Whos driving the truck?
