Yeah you gotta love the guys who have the passion, time and money to bring these planes back to life in flying condition. But these guys take the cake...

Who wants a nice new fresh FW-190 A8/N off the factory floor?

Can't wait until next week. Did I mention they have flyable versions of the I-16, I-15bis, I-152 and PO-2 there? ;-)

I'm kicking myself. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

I lived in Virginia Beach for years. I just recently moved from there. I wish I had known about this place. I occasionally saw old warbirds flying around. I guess this would explain why.

Hehe http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif

and it looks as if they are doing a D9 as well - on the 190 pages there are pics for a D9 (whether this is a restoration project or a build like the 190 A8, I dunno - doesn't say)

Looks cool anyways http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif 635kmh @ 20,000 ft. Not bad... not bad at all.
