Hi everyone,

We're glad to release DivisionIntel, a collaboration between several software engineers (and most importantly, gamers that didn't hesitate to take some days off work to play The Division at release).

We wanted to contribute to the community, so we felt it would be great if we could use our tech skills to create a platform that would host a series of tools/apps that contribute to the community and improve the overall The Division experience.

Important note: we need YOU! We didn't make DivisionIntel just to release some stuff and be done with it. We want to hear from you, we want your feedback and your suggestions on how we can improve it to make it better for you. You can contact us via any platform (including reddit), but we host a forum so we can gather all the feedback/suggestions/discussion in one place.

Our currently released projects:

A DPS calculator (dps.divisionintel.com (http://dps.divisionintel.com)) that implements Skill-Up's improved calculation (https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/48cojz/the_complete_dps_formula_including_the_very/) (with his approval!) in a user-friendly app. We also made a mobile version of this tool for Android, but it's currently being reviewed to be published on the Android Play Store. Read more and stay tuned (http://forum.divisionintel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=18).
We host a forum for feedback and suggestions (forum.divisionintel.com (http://forum.divisionintel.com)), but we'd love it if you contribute your own guides, playstyle, fan art, etc. We hope to see our forum become a host to content that makes you a better player.

Other projects already in development:

An Open (queryable) Database for Game Data (http://forum.divisionintel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5). This database will contain all of the game's data and will be used in any of our projects that need some of the game's data. We'll also open up an API that will allow anyone to build apps/tools with the data without having to host it. Once finished, we can also provide a download to the whole thing :)
Talent/Perk/Skills Character Builder (http://forum.divisionintel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6): Show us your playstyle, keep track of progression, mess around with different game mechanics and share your favorite builds. An all-in-one character builder. We're waiting for release until we continue development, as we'll need more complete game data.
The Division Timers: A tool to keep track of in-game events/timers/dailies/weeklies/... This project is on hold until the game is released, because no game = no timers :)

Our not-so-top-secret future plans:

First, we're going to spend some time on our reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/49c21o/divisionintelcom_a_host_of_useful_apps_and_tools/). We want to know how you feel, what things you'd like to have implemented, etc. There can't be a player-driven platform without feedback from the players. :)
Releasing our DPS calculator on iOS. Currently a low priority for us, but if you poke us enough we'll speed it up.
Creating more in-depth game guides. We already have some content (guides) planned that will help you gain an edge against other players. More on that later on our forums.

And as a final note: we'll be hosting a Tom Clancy's The Division (PC) giveaway later today at 16:00 GMT+1 (http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20160307T16&p0=48&msg=DivisionIntel.com+The+Division+Giveaway+%28PC% 29&font=cursive&csz=1) to celebrate our launch. We'll host it on reddit and everyone is free to participate, so good luck!

PS: Content creators (youtubers, streamers, guide authors, roleplayers, ...) let us know who you are! We're looking for people to work with and we'd love to hear from you.
