Some of the shell casings are not modeled correctly and I know that Oleg wants IL2 to be as realistic as possible. The MK108 casings are a good example of this. If you take notice the casings that are now modeled in the game have a wide base that tapers to a smaller neck. The MK108 casings are not like this. The MK108 casing has the same diameter from the bottom to the top with no taper or smaller neck. I wish that I could include a picture with this but I do not know how to paste a picture here. There are several other types of casings like this also. I would just like to see the correct type of casings for the corresponding gun or cannon.

Very true. I also think that the crowbar you had under the seat of Hurricanes should also be modelled.

That way we can get them and do much damage to people who want shell casings modelled accurately! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You think maybe he was being sarcastic?

Also there are not enough ejected casings to represent all the rounds being fired.

Its a fate worse than death. The horror, the horror.

Also I noticed that the trajectory of the shell casings once ejected from the plane appears to be incorrectly modelled considering airflow around the fuselage.

It's the little details that make or break a game IMO.
