Just got this game, installed and started up. It loads to the tutorial and within a few keystrokes the game freezes and I get an ACC.exe has stopped working alert. Is this a common problem? Anyway to fix?

Only tried playing it because after playing The Crew for a few hours I experienced several game breaking bugs and random shut downs so I needed something less buggy to play... I guess this shows me anything Ubisoft is useless to try.

its not a common problem, if you are having same problems with other games then there is something wrong with your PC, you need to start investigating and test your hardware, it might be anything from hardware damage to software conflicting with games, unfortunately there is no way to know unless if you do testing step by step to isolate the problem.

I have over 400 games on steam and have played at least half of them on this computer with the current setup and I don't have any issues.

I play 2 games through UPlay and both have issues, the first couple of problems on the crew seemed common problems that are well known just not being fixed.

I'll try to mess with some settings on rogue but ill probably just go with avoiding Ubisoft games after this.

each game works differently, you will never know if a software is conflicting with the game and causing it to crash, i cannot know whats the error from here and you cannot guess it either, i suggest you start by disabling all running softwares and services (usually ones with overlay, recording, keyboard/mouse stuff,....) that might conflict with the game and see if it fixes the issue.

Whats your specs?

If its more than one game it sounds like a hardware issue.

I have to say, this is interesting.... Ever since the Humble Bundle with Rogue being offered, the forums have been FILLED with issues playing or even launching Rogue... It's starting to make me wonder if there's something going on considering the number of users having issues ll of the sudden.

I imagine most people gave Rogue a pass on the PC since it was mainly for last-gen consoles but since it's on sale, people are grabbing it, like myself. And maybe now we're seeing bugs that haven't been well established or reported until now.

OP, what OS are you running? What video card?

Here's five more examples of the same issue all posted within the past week. I haven't had a chance to play it yet since I bought the Humble Bundle but I'm going to give it a go myself and see what happens.
