They wont be affected when you install AEP.

I wouldn't join any club that would have ME as member!

When I installed I made a full copy of my FB, suggest u should do the same, clean instal 1.0 and then instal aep, transfer back campaign files, user files and skins etc, a lot of people have had problems installing AEP over fully patched FB.

I did a clean install of FB and AEP.

BUT I backed up the FB patched version (retitled folder OLD FB)I had been using so I could take out the missions, skins, chatter packs and (especially, so I didn't have to set up my stick and keyboard again) the config and swap them out with the stuff in AEP. Save the whole FB folder just in case you forgot something.

Worked like a champ.

Saving and reusing the old stuff will save you lots of time.

If I understand right, AEP won't overwrite any skins or missions. I did a clean install and went to reassign all of my controlls, but they were still there, so were all of my skins and missions.

I would still make a copy of old FB however...
