Wuhan . Optics Valley of China International Cyber Air Sports (ICAS for short) which is authorized by Aviation Radio Model Sports Center of General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China for the memorial of airplane-invention for 100 years and develop of China aviation sports will be held in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province.
ICAS is held by Administration Commission of Wuhan East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone and Wuhan Administration of Sports and undertook by Wuhan Optics Valley Neo-tech Development Co., Ltd.

It's the first time to bring the cyber air sports into the national mass sports career. Moreover, ICAS is the first cyber air sports match not only in China but also in the world. This is a significant experiment for the development of sports in future.

Competition Method
I. Time & Place:
1. Dec. 17, 2003 ¨C Feb. 26, 2004: Domestic tryout in each country through the internet.
2. Mar. 25 ¨C 28, 2004: Final match in Wuhan, Hubei, China.

II. Sponsors:
1. Authorized by Aviation Radio Model Sports Center of General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China.
2. Held by Wuhan Administration of Sports and Administration Commission of Wuhan East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone.
3. Undertook by Wuhan Optics Valley Neo-tech Development Co., Ltd.
4. Assisted by Wuhan Dyare S&T Developments Co., Ltd., Wuhan 3D Advertisement Co., Ltd. and other assistant corporations.

III. Match Items:
1. 2 vs 2 Combat.
2. 1 vs 1 Gradation.

IV. Players' Qualification:
1. The 2 winners of the domestic tryout in each country form the national team.
2. The regular and reserve players have the qualification of joining the 1 vs 1 match.

V. Size of ICAS:
1. 2 vs 2: Altogether 12 national teams, each consists of 2 regulars.
2. 1 vs 1: Not more than 32 players (including 32) in total.

VI. Domestic Tryout Method (Dec. 17, 2003 - Feb. 26, 2004):
1. The application begins on Dec. 17, 2003 and stops on Feb. 1, 2004. ICASOC suggests that the liaisons in each country organize your domestic tryout according to the situation in your own country and make 2 players to join the final match.

2. The score-count rules are according to ICAS Organizing Committee (ICASOC for short)'s ordainment.

VII. ICAS Final Method (Mar. 25 - 28, 2004):
1. 2 vs 2: The 12 national teams are divided into 4 groups A, B, C, D (each group has 3 players) according to the sortition. Each group plays the round robin. The 2 winners of each group, altogether 8 teams enter the second round.
The rest 4 teams are ranked 9-12 according to their integral scores.
The first 8 teams take the entire round robin and are ranked 1-8. Then the first 4 teams form 2 combinations (A vs B, C vs D) according to the sortition and play the semi-final. The team which wins 3 rounds in 5 rounds enters the final. The rest 2 teams play 5 rounds, who wins 3 is the bronze medalist.

2. 1 vs 1: The champion, runner-up and bronze medalist are determined according to the 2 vs 2 rules.
