Just saw the special on the 163 on Discovery Wings and was wondering when the takeoff problem was fixed if the wheel dolly is to drop manually like in RL of if it will auto drop.

The show explained that if the dolly wasn't dropped at exactly the right height it could bounce back up damaging the A/C, or rupturing a fuel tank, or even get logged on the front of the skid http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

I assume it will be Done Manually -- With the (G Key). - Prob Raises Skid and sheds Dolly all in one Go.

Yes in RL , you could do damage to your Plane if casting the Dolly too low or indeed your Wingman, They did take off in Formation. As if it wasnt dangerous enough Huh.
