I was reading over at simhq that the 3.10's are out and offering better frame rate increases than the 3.8' or 3.9's for some

They are very good in excellent mode. Best drivers I have seen for this game. Very Smooth! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Just can't use perfect with them. That will be fixed in the next release in Jan.

GIBRO has a thread in Tech support with some screenies of perfect mode on some beta drivers he is testing. The pics look gr8!

I run in perfect mode. When I tried to run the black death track the machine kept rebooting.(as soon as I clicked play)It was cat 3.10 removal and cat 3.7 re-install for me.

So, if you are not playing in perfect mode, the 3.10 rocks? I'll give it a go then. Has anyone tried any other games? Like Max Payne 2? Since I got that game I haven't even tried the FB http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I will give the 3.10's a shot as well. I never bothered with the 3.8 or 3.9's. I will do this over the holidays as I am taking 2 weeks off. Lots of flying time yipeee!

I don't understand the number on these drivers. Doesn't 4.0 come after 3.9? The next drivers are going to be 4.10.

How does 3.10 fit between 3.9 and 4.10?

If I recall correctly, somebody said that the 3 is the 2003 releases and the 9 and 10 denote the 9th and 10th release in 2003.

Dude read the Readme and it explains that they haven't fixed the perfect mode problem. It's a known issue and it will be fixed in the next release.

I always understood even numbered releases were fully tested software versions odd numbered ones were betas. 4.0 full release 4.1 beta 4.2 full release.

The first number (3) is the year the driver is released.

The second number (.10) means it was the tenth driver released that year, hence; 3.10= tenth driver released in 2003.

the first driver released in 2004 will be 4.1 NOT 4.10
