I know if 20 ppl respond to this ,I will get 20 differnt answers. But what are ppl using for convergences, particularly 190 drivers?

Myself I prefer to set it 150 for every thing, as i like to get close. But i think most of the others use 200 to 250.Its just a matter of what you feel comfortable with.

Hello

I like to fly all the FW aircraft and use the same gun convergence for all types.

I have all my gun convergence set to 1000m (I think I may be the exception) but it works for me. I believe its down to personal preference and what ever works best for you when aimimg...use it!.

I have learned to aim off accordingly and can enguage at 700m. I don't expect to down aircraft at those ranges..but I do expect to cause some minor damage which can give me an advantage as the range closes and the fight begins in earnest.

I also think that shooting at longer range, the enemy aircraft is less able to perform a manouver which I cannot counter effectively. Close range may mean an enemy is able to evade if he performs some rapid roll and dive or simmilar, but at ranges of 500m you can see what it is he is doing and counteract most of these before they have any real effect.

These are my views and experiences, hope they offer some help and insight!

300 m for fifties and fighters 800m to attack bombers. 400m for cannon and 800m for bomber guns

200 for centerline, and 150 for wing-mounted weapons.
