Whenever you hear "two-weeks" here add at least 6 to that.

I think of the glorious three years I spent living on the Balearic island of Ibiza, back in the late 60's http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Fresh from England and completely un-travelled, it took me a while to realise that my Anglo-Spanish dictionary's definition of the word manana was somewhat lacking. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Tomorrow yes, but also the next and the next, maybe even the tomorrow of all tomorrows, lol. Once I had accepted that strange (to me) and elastic concept I had a great life in a warm and welcoming community.

I think that the disadvantage of getting hung up on when something like the patch will materialize is that it can never be good enough when it finally appears. We lose the ability to enjoy what we have, always waiting for the next fix. Don't get me wrong.....I'm looking forward to whatever additions and improvements are coming....I just refuse to hang myself out to dry over the question of "when".

What Do I think of? --Well not much these days but as I stare out the Nursing Home Window I think about the Anticipation I had back in my TEENS. The excitement of knowing in two weeks all my problems would be patched up. Ahh those were the days.

Am I the only one that thinks of that scene in Total Recall, where Arnold is at the airport ticket counter dressed as a fat lady and his disguise is starting to malfunction? The fat lady's head gets stuck on sayin "two weeks...two weeks...two weeeeeks...twoo...weeeeeeks" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Corp. 2 wks can easily mean 6 months.

I think of that Arnie movie (Total Recall) where he is trying to sneak onto mars, and they ask him "how long will you be on Mars?" and he replies (over and over before his head explodes) "Two Weeks!"!!

Ureka!!! I've figured this whole thing out...when Oleg or UBI talk about two weeks, they are talking about "Dog Weeks"

I don't know why I didn't figure it out earlier...hence the fascination with Dog fights, Dog soldiers, Dog tags, and Dogma.... with a nickname like BullDog one would think that I would have figured it out! Funny thing is...do you have any idea how old I am in dog years...kind scary http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

Two dog weeks is 98 days to the average human...so if we go back to the original post of two weeks and add 98 days, this should put us right on target... plus or minus a couple of weeks of course http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

"Two Weeks" is the period between, and the length of, my ex-wife's murderous bouts of PMS. For several years, my life was measured in two-week periods (if you'll pardon the expression).

For some reason, the words "two weeks" no longer strike fear in my heart...

cheers

Einstein learnd us that time is relative!
And also we know what happend to things which are VERY fast... C1 and Ubi are working very fast, so close to the speed of light they get very heavy (poor guys http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif - women will not like them anymore! ) and also the time is slower at this speeds.. so if they wordk harder/faster to finish the patch, it will take longer to end it, cause the time is slower then...

That's the interval between when my girlfriend has a "headache" and when she doesn't have a "headache".

24 hours in a day.
