I have placed Shadow Six's new movie, "Infamy", on my Site for viewing. It is very impressive, telling the Pearl Harbor "story".

With Shadow Six's approval, I have chosen to show it in the same 320X240 pixel size which I use with virtually all movies on my site. There is some loss of quality, but in my opinion the story and the editing, etc, are the most important aspect.

IF you experience problems with the movie from my Site, PLEASE send me a Private Message via this forum (See upper right of this page for PM options, if you are not familiar with them)

Follow the link to my site in my Sig Block, below; then, on the Home page, follow the Flashing arrow announcing the New "Imfamy" movie.

It is 31 Mb, and may load slowly. Wait 15-30 seconds (as it is buffering unseen in the 'background') if necessary...it Should start automatically, but you can always acess Movie Controls by right clicking. Not as confusing as it sounds...it's all explained on the "Infamy" Page on my Site.

Again, I am just hosting it...Shadow Six made the Video.

Right click on the movie select "properties", copy the Location URL for the movie/file, insert URL in your browser, Oila!!!! It will open your Windows media player and download.

In windows media player, you then select Edit, then "Save As...", and it will be on your hard drive.

BTW, You can use this process with many/most internet site-'embedded' videos

Many thanks to OberstWiley and his website for hosting my FB virtual movie "INFAMY". The IL-2 / FB community should feel privileged to have a site like this.

I would also like to thank the designers of the skins for this project. They are given proper credit at the end of the movie.

A larger version, about 48mb, may become available.

Thanks again to OberstWiley and enjoy the film. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Very good historical film! I always wanted to do "Pearl Harbor" with CFS2 but my machine back then did not have the horse power to do so. I like many of the new style of film shooting techniques that you used, very emotional footage. Hi-res version will do justice to your film but I thank Oberst for hosting this fine film. Please make another film when Oleg brings out the add-on that has all the fighters and bombers from WW II (1939 - 1945).

Hi Wiley

It seems that your server is down or the movie was downloaded too many times !

Good flight to you !

No the server is not down and there are no bandwidth restrictions. Your browser or setup might not show the video properly in the page. If so here is a direct link to download the film:

Michapma(My uber-co-site-host) is correct, of course. The movie works on the site, and as with other movies on the Site, there is virtually No limit on number of downloads/streams/viewings. As of yet, I've received no other comments from anyone having problems.

Therefore, it must have something to do with your end. Good luck.

Another fantastic film and better than the film 'Pearl Harbor' in 1 respect...it doesn't have Ben Affleck doing his MC Hammer "it's Hammer-time" impersonations. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
