Wow I just got thru a mission made by IL2DCG and was amazed at the immersion of being in a real battle.I look foward to Oleg's creations in the future with even more anticipation now.Convoys having to rearm units that you are slowly diminishing is GREAT.Very impressed!

I shudder to think what a battlefield with real time effects of supply and demand will be like with the graphics and physics from Wartime Command.Flying much more accurately detailed planes over a battlefield like visualized with extreme detail WILL be amazing.

Ok enuff of my ranthttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifWhat I would like to know is this. Can we get Icons for ground units.I dont mean such as we have now for planes but just a simple dot flashing a Blue or Red.At some dstance in real life a pilot with 20/20 vision would be able to tell enemy from friend. In FB I have to zoom in and get super close before I can identify. Why not just have the small dot flash Red or Blue at a certian distance.Just wonderinghttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

We have icons for enemy ground....... friendly too. I dont think they have numbers on them but it will be an arrowpointing down in the enemies color. I think it's F5.... but check because I may have changed mine.

A proper distinction Friend-or-Foe of the ground units was an exception rather than a rule AFAIK. That's why Sturmoviks were usually attacking from behind enemy lines - to get the enemy first in sight.

The accounts of fratricide by ground attack planes of all nations in WW2 are many.

HansKnappstick....if you fly at 300mph over a tank, you dont think youd be able to recognize it???....I can tell you that I would make a couple of passes in bad weather just too make sure but in clear skies one pass is enough.
