View Full Version : What is better? Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, or Christian rock band Creed?

Both clearly have their qualities, one is a videogame franchise about a bunch of klansmen killing anyone who disagrees with them, the other is an American rock band formed in 1993 who's songs often have very religious tones,(much like the religious tones of AC?)
So what is it? Ezio or Scott Stapp?
Unity or Proof of life?

Patrice Desilets, he embodies what is great about both of them.

"Creed", the movie, with Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone.

That was a damn good movie.

All Christian music is garbage than only sheltered white teenagers like.

I would use this thread to highlight the crazy difference in quality between Creed and Alter Bridge. It is the same band with only a different singer yet one is infinitely more enjoyable than the other.

Scott Stapp is the devil.

I mean AC is gonna shred since the other choice is crappy hymns forcefully instrumentalized and vocalized by some white guy that sings like every other white guy that sings.

Obviousily AC

But Mark Tremonti is one of the greatest modern guitarists so Creed gets points for that

Creed is NOT a Christian band. While the members might be Christian, they themselves have said they don't play Christian music, nor are their songs very religious. Just because the word "God" is in a song doesn't mean it's a Christian song. That being said, I do enjoy Creed and/or Alter Bridge. I actually know a guy that has worked closely with the band, and he has had some very colourful things to say about Scott Stapp, but apparently as of late Stapp has really cleaned up his act.

Secondly, don't be so quick to stereotype all Christian music, Christian artists, etc. as the same. I personally like a lot of the Christian music that most churches are too narrow-minded to play. As for Christian artists, did you know that Alice Cooper is one? (His music isn't but he is, he chose to put on a fun show rather than preach & whatnot, and I've got no problem with that!)

Obviously the actual historical Creed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creed_%28perfume%29) from eighteenth century Paris.
