Yes but will the omega drivers give me 100 FPS in Perfect Mode in 2024X1600? Hmm maybe not. Well that's what I need in order to run the game properly.

PS

Just kidding.

But to answer your question. We cannot say if any improvments are being to so and so game. If someone has they either

a) were given specific information and told to distribute it.

b) are a developer and can speak freely about it

c) are breaking an NDA

Yesterday here in our office were engineers from ATI. They pay great atention to the features that we use in their drivers (probably no one team use so much, don't know). So I expect from them the very good and fast drivers soon.

4.1 is best for me - much better than 4.2 or 4.3

Salute!

The post date from Oleg is Feb 25. SO I don't believe that the 4.3 set would be inclusive of any opt. since the 4.3 were released on 3-10. That's just a guess on my part not an official statement. Seems too tight of a time frame IMO to be included at that point for the 4.3's.

Oleg and his crew have been working with ATI as you can see from his statement. AEP has 2.0 pixel shaders which make some really cool effects. Pretty cool stuff.

Omega sets sometimes do, other times they are a step backwards. Depends on the game and driver files used.

The Release Notes for the 4.3 drivers make no mention of improvements to IL2 FB performance, but are very specific on which games are addressed...I would look for improvements in the next Catalyst release.

All the best, Don

Maybe you should have read the 4.3 driver release notes before posting this.

AEP has 2.0 pixel shaders? It does? I didn't think it did.
