I remeber when I saw Blue Angels at Tullinge in Sweden when this formation flew by in front of us and it missing a plane when it just flew by above us from rear in a not so high altitude.Almost had to change trousers.

LOL...I saw this a few days ago. The bid amount still hasn't changed. I wonder if the reserve has been met yet.

I'm surprised no wag has registered "Osama" or something and put a bid on. Amazing the amount of ex-mil hardware for sale on Ebay.

Wasn't there an Ex-RN Aircraft Carrier listed a while back?

Yikes! A lot 6 Hornet. BuNo. 161973. I know I worked on that jet in VMFA-251 in the '80s before we tranfered it to the Blues. OK, 90% sure I've worked that exact jet. Whoever buys that jet , I sure hope they got a couple spare flight control computers laying areound for it, 'cause they're gonna need them if the jets been sittin for a couple years. ..... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif come to think of it, although I make my living of off Hornets, there is no other military aircraft I could recommend less to own privately. Buy an A-4, or a OV-10. Why? you may ask. You will have no access to the flight control software or mission computer software, and once you need a reload, you're done. K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid) is a good rule.

I wonder how they came into possesion of this plane? If it was a scrapped airframe, I could see that, but it seems to be a flyer,.....Hmm. research is gonna happen at work tonight. I'll update if anything good comes up.

Of course it could be. The truth must be found.
