Well I managed to fix the "missing" rocket objects and incorporate a V1 into the FMB. Thanks for the assistance. Here are some screenies of my 3rd attempt (first two were disasters).

I managed to roll the thing right over but it broke my wing and I had to bail, still it was an interesting challenge.

Wow, I can't even begin to match speed with it, I'm a little to clumsy with the throttle I guess. Nice job.

No matter how lightly you touch it you will break your wing. Oleg said they where tippable but by what and how I have no clue.

That is really nifty.

Has anyone tipped one without breaking a wing yet? I only tried it once, bungled it, and smashed off my whole wing. Tomaz99 only knocked off the outer wing section!

The V1's opposite wing has flipped over and struck your wing. Gotta pull away from it real quick once it's tipped.

How about trying a Spitfire, I don't know if it will make much of a difference but the Mk XIV and XII as far as I know historically were used to disrupt the airflow of the V-1. Try and see if an aircraft with similar power can achieve by getting close as well. Or try rolling with the V-1 if it rolls all the time.

There is a video .trk file with the ACE Pack that shows how it is done.Very cool but I am looking for the answer on how to find the objects to build a V1 launch site.

AEP has it in FMB you have to do a fresh install for it to work, it won't be there if your game is patched. It has to be at version 1.0

Your not supposed to make contact with the v1 wing, in real life the pilots woul get their wing directly infront of the v1 wing, this would disrupt the airflow over the v1 wing enough too cause a stall on that wing, dumping the lift and rolling it onto its back, loss of gyro control crash boom etc.

A quick .50 cal burst to the right spot takes care of the little buggers right quick. I have yet to pull off a succesful "tip" though.

If the aep install went correctly the "rocket" section will appear in the object list in the fmb.If not done correctly it will not show. However there is a fix(editing the blgconfig.ini).It is in a post in Olegs ready room.

I probably have this backwards, but didn't they put the lower surface of their wing on the upper surface of the buzz bomb's wing and push down in real life? I dunnow if it will help, but give it a try and see.

No Luckyboy, they put the wing tip under the wing of the V1 and flipped it over.

Think about that. That action would cause the V1 to spin into the path of the flipping plane (no pun intended). Also that action would turn the flipper into the path of the V1. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I think we need a Spitfire XIV and a Tempest V to do this job properly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The P51 seems to be able to catch the V1 whereas I had some difficulty catching up in a Spit. I tried making my a/c "invulnerable" just to see but that was boring as the V1 would blow up at the slightest touch ergo no challenge. I will try the "disrupting the airflow" point though it would depend on whether thats modelled into the game. For those of you who couldn't find the rocket object, I had the same problem, there is a simple fix and its posted by Oleg and crew.
