I just started and when reaching sequence 3 the game will not continue. I have gotten the err [0x0000001] for several days and have a ticket at Ubi.com but have had no responce. Is there a problem that I'm not aware of?
Thanks for any insite.

i'm assuming you are talking about AC:Syndicate, right?

Please start by posting your system specs.

have you tried to verify game files?

perhaps the following suggestion can help you out:

Yes, It's Syndicate I'm Having trouble with.
Specs: Asus M3N72-D w/ Phenom II x6 1090T
GForce GTX 970
4 GB DDR2
83GB free space
I verified game files . When I press the play button I get a message that there is an update available. When update is chosen, "Unable to start update" is shown stating to check internet and free space. Internet is fine and 83GB free space should be enough.
Any ideas?

can you check the log file and see whats the actual error?

log file here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs\launcher_log.txt

You could always try to copy/paste the text from the log file...

ok this is the error:

Manifest not set for game with product ID 1875.

well, lets try this thing:

1. Copy the game to a different drive/folder. (make sure you have at least 50GB of free space on the drive after copying the game)
2. Uninstall the game from UPlay.
3. Restart UPlay as admin.
4. Click on ACS--> Download button.
5. When prompted for the install location, browse to the path you copied the game to in step 1.
6. UPlay will discover game files and only download required/corrupted ones which also include patched files.
7. Wait until download is finished, and then play the game and see if its the latest version.

Thanks for the help. I just got home and will try this now. I have the game on "D" drive so i'll move it to "C" (172GB free space). If it works, can I then send it back to "D" without a problem? All my games and Sims are on "D".
Thanks again for your help and I will get back here after the move.

You can back it up (copy to any location), uninstall from UPlay and then copy it back again to D where it used to be then follow the rest of steps (starting from step 3).
