This is gonna have AC3 nostalgia for all over...

Definitely reminds me of that level titled "Something to Remember"

Hmm yes, but there may be more to it, we have to wait and watch, could be a companion game to the next AC in 2016. But they can not announce the next AC game yet.

Why are there huge gaping holes in half of the buildings?

I know, don't worry. Is this some sort of post-apocalyptic world? Not only are there huge gaping holes through buildings and in the floor (like that section of the sewer under Notre Dame that obviously doesn't exist and wasn't present in Unity), but there aren't any people and deer can be seen freely roaming about.

EDIT: Lol I just saw a giraffe!

They could have pulled a Journey and make it about the journey instead of the end goal. Looks like an empty world to simply fly over because reasons...

Wouldn't it be cool if we could play as an eagle in AC, after all, they are the iconic symbol of the assassins. What I was thinking was that when you synchronize a viewpoint, you then play a sort of minigame, where you fly as an eagle around the area, locating collectibles, instead of them just appearing on the map.

I think this will be some sort of companion experience to next year's AC. May come with season pass, and also sell seperately

Jesper Kyd's music in this trailer... what does it mean? Probably nothing but hoping there's something.

Looks like someone took the gameplay from Flower and reskinned it for AC.

Yeah it reminded me of flower and ToKW, also the eagle vision video they released in London earlier this year before Syndicate released and now this and the eagle kill ability in FC Primal.

Reuse of assets till they are milked to death.

Reuse is fine as long as it fits the bill, it fits the concept. For instance rockstar reused too with max payne 3 and gta 4. Avalanche reused stuff from mad max in just cause 3. Reuse is pretty common in the industry. It should fit. That is what matters, In this case I feel it fits, and they are developing a mission from AC3/ TokW, in a better way. Which is not bad to me. I consider it efficient use of resources in case where it is well done
