I just bought the game on Steam, its on sale.
I lauch the game, watch all the intros and then the game always crahes when the music starts. I hear the first piano notes, see some pictures on the screen and then its gone.
Is there a fix?

Glad you got the game.

The first thing I would suggest would be to update your drivers. If that doesn't work could you update the thread with your DXDIAG? That'll give us a better idea what you're working with.

I got this game to work by rolling back to the previous NVIDIA drivers. But then i changed the settings from low to very high and it stopped working again. I even deleted the assassin's creed ini in my documents file to get the default settings and it still doesn't work.

I found the fix for me.
It was because of Raptr. (AMD Gaming Evolved).
Had to close it and now it works.
