Hi All,

So im a bit late posting this but here goes.

First off im reporting on behalf of my friend who for some reason is getting me to post this.

So his game decides to shut down after roughly 5 seconds in game, so on the menu screen its fine, but as soon as he launches into game, he runs for about 5 seconds and the game closes to desktop and no error code, then uplay syncs and nothing happens.

His pc specs are as follows :

i7 6770k skylake @4.6ghz
Asus maximus hero 8 motherboard
16GB DDR4
EVGA Kingpin 780ti
850w psu
240gb SSDx2
2tb HDD.

Operating System Windows 10 64bit Pro.

I have personally checked myself and his drivers are all up to date and the temps are all fine when under load, he has pre ordered the game and is now preloaded and he is hoping it works tomorrow.
Poor guy never to to play the beta at all.

Any advice from devs or tech support ?

Hello there,

Can you get your friend to create a support ticket on our site and provide their MSinfo file on the ticket?: https://support.ubi.com (https://support.ubi.com)

To acquire the MSinfo please carry out the following steps:

- Hold down the Windows key on the keyboard and press 'R'.
- Type MSINFO32
- Click OK.

Once loaded click File > then EXPORT (not save) the file locally to your system, now please upload the files to us from our Support website.

If you are unable to attach a file because it is too big to attach, please compress the file into a .zip folder using a program such as Winzip which is free.

Please do not post the MSinfo or any of its contents on this forum.

Thanks.

Apologies on delay in reply i have been unable to post for a few days, he found out the issue, his cpu was overheating when siege plays, all other games are fine but siege made his cpu get very hot and such down the game, he ended up buying a lot of noctua fans and that made a difference but they all run at 100% when siege was on, he then refitted his corsair h100i and boom problem sorted, temps fixed and fans not kicking off and game stays open, so looks like his cpu cooler might not of been sitting quite right, but still with that said, games such as arma 3 on ultra at 1080 did not bother his cpu with a poorly fitted cpu cooler yet siege for some reason make the temps get hot....anyway problem solved.
