I have more than adequate hardware but I thought this card was all about playing in 4k?

I'm currently playing in 1440p with mixed graphic options and I found a sweet spot to get pretty much a constant 60 fps but shouldn't I be able to at least max everything at 1440p since this card is supposed to be all about gaming in 4k? What gives?

Or should I just face the inevitable doom and realize that this is in fact an Ubisoft product, so no one will ever be able to achieve such things?

Just like ACU...the dev's targeted their starting optimizing at 1080 res with 30 fps.

no single card including a titan can max out 4k... plus nvidia gamework options are an enormous strain on gpu's and some people think they must "max" out all settings even if they look worse.

My advice is
1. Don't believe AAA games will run amazingly well in 4k with 1 gpu... maybe after dx12 is utilised and pascal cards arrive.
2. set it up to look best for you not nvidia. FACT It runs at 60FPS and is made for 1080p but running in higher resolution and NVIDIA settings stop it, not Ubisoft.
3. turn off any FPS monitoring... because if the game looks and runs amazing it doesn't matter about FPS... no bad game was ever made better by having 140 fps and no good game is bad for having less than 60 fps.
only racing and flying games need over 50 fps constantly... if you must be drawn into the misconception that all games must be MAXXED out and 60 FPS buy a quad titan system. :( or play them at the 1080p that is the designated resolution.
