I asked you to send me a PM, but forgot that I haven't been able to register "Turo" in these forums yet.

Sorry if that caused any confusion.

Would still like to talk to you about JG27.

Dunno if aristo comes by the forums to frequently. best way to get ahold of him is to get on hyperlobby, maybe around 9 or 10(central). He is usually on there, and u can just pm him.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

It looks like the cool thing to do is respond, so here I am. Graduated from ground school tonight. Closer and closer to getting my private pilots license. Something I'd be way into is flying around Kaua'i buzzing the surfers and looking for secret spots. You guys don't surf, but if a hoale boy like me did that it would be a major fauxpou (gigantic sp, I've never even seen french literature).

LOL!

You guys are nut jobs. =]

Congrats on your ground school, Elfunkmeister!

You aren't doing both your flight AND ground simultaneously? I can't imagine doing one without the other.. it just makes so much more sense to have the practical knowledge to go along with the book learning as you go.

Either way.. once you start flying in the fresh morning air I think that's about as close to perfection and heaven as you can get within our earthly bindings. I miss flying 3-4 times a week. =/

Maybe this summer when the weather gets nicer I'll treat myself to a weekly flight.
