View Full Version : Graphical issues not present in Closed Beta AMD R9 280x X-fire

I'm experiencing some graphical issues which may be tessellation related in game but NOT on menu screens, videos, or other things in game. I have attempted to change all the graphic settings but nothing fixes the issue (this includes bloom effects and rendering processes).

This issue was not present in the original closed beta and the hardware has not changed since either.

Hardware Specs:

Intel i7 4820k 3.7Ghz OCed @5.0Ghz
Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz 32GB
24TB WD Caviar Black 7200 RPM HDD
1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD

POSSIBLE X-FIRE ISSUE
2x Sapphire AMD R9 280x in crossfire running AMD Catalyst 15.20.1062.1004-150803a1-187669C

General description of graphical issues:
The game will flash and random vectors and triangular segments of color will appear when looking at parts of the map. However, while climbing buildings or walls and looking up at the skybox the issue subsides and is either stopped or reduced until the map is looked at again. The graphical issues are not isolated to any part of the screen though they do occur more if you are looking at the floor or large pieces of furniture such as a bar, table, or other non movable thing.

Hello TheBlindGamer,

have a look in the Known Issues Thread (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1332624-Closed-Beta-Known-Issues). There's a point about the AMD graphics cards.

Thanks

Check my thread. Ubisoft employee said you might have to disable crossfire:

Thanks so much for the help apparently it's also issues with the R9 2XX series as well as several other Radeon class cards from the 7xxx and 6xxx HD series. Disabling Crossfire worked without much performance drop.

Thanks again :)
