...then these will whet your Pacific Fighters appetite. The two movies are "1942" and "1945". The movies are 100% computer animation, but they are done so well...

...dudes, just download them and thank me later. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

No, I choose to thank you now! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'm still downloading the second one. The first is brilliant. Not only does it have nice 3D work, but the cinematography is superb in its timing.

@Mustang, there's a wonderfully ironic spelling error in your Haiku that you may want to fix. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif Also, the second line has eight syllables and not seven, thusly adding to the overall irony. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif I'm just teasing you though, so don't beat me with your rhythm stick.

HEHE, SWEET IRONY! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif Must have made that mistake when I was re-uploading my sig a while back, Damn uploadit. Erased my pics and had to re due everything.

But I'm pretty sure that's seven syllables and not eight.

MANY THANKS!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The irony and humorous contrast made me think it was intentional, and so more meaningful somehow.. But now i realize its just another dime a dozen Haiku? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/51.gif

Well the Websters dictionary (http://www.britannica.com/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=genius) gives it as either "'jEn-y&s" or "'jE-nE-&s"

It's really three syllables, even though some may swallow up one of them. Same as "potato" is three syllables, even if you pronounce it as "ta-ter"

I've been watching them all and they each have a great quality. The camera work is beyond reproach. At the moment it's a toss between legacy1.mpg and stunt1.mpg.

I've got to vote for stunt1.mpg because of my Corsair bias. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

No, I have never posted these before, but they were posted a while back in the Il-2 Movie Makers forum by someone else. I just thought they were so good (and they had to do with the Pacific air war) that I thought I would share the link here.

I've had them for about three months now and I still watch them and go..."Wow"
