Like a 2x size or something? They are so tiny!

IN FMB, on the left side, is something like a scrool bar.
Put mouse pointer on it, and move your scrool whell.
This is called ZOOM.

A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great'
landing is one after which they can use the plane again<center>

In FMB? What does FMB stand for? Sorry, I'm very new to Forgotten Battles.

Thanks for helping me /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

FMB = Full Mission Builder, i.e. the mission editor that comes with the game.

Of course you could use the zoom view - default 'Delete' button. By the way have you noticed that the german reticules are way off centre yet?

Tip - have a look at the FAQ (frequently asked questions).

I have a problem with zomming via "Delete" hey. The controls get so overtly sensitive, that I can't aim straight. Any suggestions for fixing that?

So in the mission builder, I can designate (let's say tanks" to be 2x their normal size, and they'l appear that way in the game? Or it's just to increase their size while "in" the FMB.

Thanks! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

They're kidding you. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

There's no way to do what you want. In FB things are proportional to their real size and are all the same scale. So it's really hard to hit a tiny ground target, and -due to the lack of labels on them, a desirable feature- even to distinguish them. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

So, improve your aiming... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

You can zoom in and use "decrease time". Only works offline of course, but i found it helped me a lot when I was moving mud in IL2.

This will be a bit of a punishment , but you can try to decrease resolution. This is the only cure I have found to spot objects on the ground. Now I'm used with 1024X768 . Plus , my comp. handles this resoultion very well.

Hey, that's CHEATING !!!! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

BTW, jut fly lower and slower.
Use IL-2s or Stukas: they are the best for ground attack.

Good luck

You can also padlock enemy ground targets. See the manual for details.

Are you working on a Df or a coop. Just to let you know, you cant use moving objects in a DF. So you can only use Staionary objects. Why?, they will not show up. You can use artilary, art dosent move.

In a coop you can place anything you so desire. I just finished my first coop this mornig. The first test, when i was in the choose an aircraft menu, i was stuck on one plane and couln't choose another lol

Have fun!

In a way, yes. But it also provides an excellent training facility for one of the harder aspects of IL2.

Having a decent trim setting helps to keep the reticule steady in the zoomed in view. Also, you may want to increase the dead zone in your joystick a bit. (and get a quality joystick http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The only way is to buy a new bigger monitor or use a projector to get accurate size of cockpit and objects.

At first tiny objects irritated me too but u get used to them and learn how to find them.
moving objects have dustcloud and u can use landmarks to estimate where they are.

The ground objects are not tiny. They are huge. It seems like they are tiny because you are far away.

Next time you are in an airplane, go to a window seat. Look out the window. Look at how tiny everything on the ground appears. See??

Hold your thumb right in front of your eye. Wow! It is big enough to block out the universe! Now straighten your arm and again look at your thumb. See how that works??
