Been a long time since Red Baron II 3D...I miss WWI fighting.http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif And I also miss a good WWII tank simulation.

I'm a big WWI fan as well and this sim looks great. But it's been almost a year since their last development update and they expect it out in this upcoming quarter? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

And Vapor, have you tried Combat Mission?

It's incredible in realism and very difficult.

Looking for a "decent" WWII Tanksim?? Try PANZER COMMANDER...it's quite old but still worth a try i think..

At least it gave me a fair bit of Network fun back in those days http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

But i think it's time indeed for a decent tanksim being developed again...or a combination-sim where players can be anything, from tanks to you name it...and NO, NOT BF1942, that one did NOT had a real WWII feeling imho..the atmosphere should be more Call of Duty style... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

One of the things I think is so great about this sim is you can simulate WW1 combat... or Koren combat. No other sim I know of gives us so much versatility with flight models this good. Sure.. you had the camels and such of CFS1..but then in a lot ofrooms you couldnt use them because youd be accused of cheating... here.... just strap on a P-11 and go for it.

Evan easier to make believe now with AEP. I spent about an hour last night in qmb, 16 J8's vs 16 Cr.42's.

Its a stretch but still a heck of a lot of fun.
