Email I recieved at work about the show, it's moved from the Birmingham motorcycle museum after the fire last year to BLACKPOOL, wonder if OLEG will be there again as UBISoft are in the exibitor links..

Dear Sirs,

The National/European Flight Simulation show is all set for June 19th & 20th 2004, this weekend event takes place at Europe's number 1 holiday resort Blackpool. It's central location within the UK means there is no better place to hold the show.

The exhibition has already had a huge response from companies from the USA & Canada, and from European countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland and the UK with more and more asking for space every day and with still over 5 months to go to this weekend extravaganza for the virtual and real pilot. You can be assured that this will be like nothing ever seen before in the United Kingdom so be a part of it and join the thousands that already are.

We have produced a 25 page full colour show and information pack, to receive your copy please click on exhibitors pack request link.

It will be the biggest event of its type the UK has ever seen and will offer specialist companies in the growing sector of the PC market to market their products to the people who really want them.

The show could not be at a more prestigious venue. The Blackpool Pleasure Beach has over 7 million visitors every year and is superbly located, just 3 minutes away from Blackpool airport, offering direct flights with Ryanair from London Stansted, Dublin and with FlyKeen from Belfast.
We believe this to be a major asset to the show, making it very accessible to European visitors.
The show will be held on two levels at the white tower complex within the Pleasure Beach and will include a total of 66 purpose built stands.

This Exhibition is the ideal setting for manufacturers and publishers to demonstrate your latest innovations and launch new products from a virtual prospective, but also to real pilots, flying schools, military, full size simulator, virtual airlines, airline careers in fact a fully comprehensive view of the aviation world. If you publish flight simulation products, pilot supplies, computer peripherals or anything else that may be of interest to the virtual and real pilot, you really should be there.

Visit www.fs2004nationalshow.com (http://www.fs2004nationalshow.com) for full details.

If you could pass this information on to your members we would be gratefull, or maybe you could arrange a fly-in to Blackpool

I like the Flight Sim show - It's great how the Il2 / FB presentation totally dominates the gig and kicks Microsoft FS' arse :-)

Previously known round these parts as mikeyg007

Taylortony, I'm affraid you are extremly mistaken, and this must be rectified immediatly,

This is NOT connected to the Birmingham show in anyway, Bob from RC Simulations hosts the Birmingham show, the Blackpool show is another UK show and has a whole different management team.

I do not know where you got the idea that the Blackpool show is the Birmingham show, it was certainely not by us, the management of the Blackpool 2004 Show!

Ahh.. sorry for the confusion, I will be dragged out the door kicking and screaming and shot at Dawn, a friend emailed the info over to me at work, but in his defence, your show is called the

The National/European Flight Simulation show 2004

and the "other" show last year was called the

European Computer Flight Simulation 2003

so you can see the similarity, as Ubi Are attending your show this year, do i read this as the Birmingham one is not running?

Still nice to see you are keeping in touch with the sim forums and look on the bright side, you are getting some free publicity http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifwhere it counts http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hello Taylortony,

I hope you didn't think I was biting your head off before, but Bob wouldn't take it too kindly is he saw the post.

As far as I know the Birmingham show is going ahead, but you would have to check that with Bob at RC Simulations.

and as you said, UBI are attending this show too, so that is something to look forward to http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hopefully I will see you at the show, if you are able to attend.

In the mean time, feel free to ask any questions you may have here, we are planning on opening a forum on the FS2004NationalShow website fairly soon (within a week, so if your interested feel free to drop in - If I give the forum the go ahead, It will be posted in the latest news area) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Best regards,

David Marter
