Any word on if this old Russian bi-plane will be flyable? I had heard it might made flyable in the last patch but didnt happen. It would sure be fun to fly it, espesially on night "washing machine charlie" raids, hehe. Cant wait for the B-25 either. Thanks in advance for any replies. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Thanks P1, VERY good news. Ever since I first saw the plane in this sim, Ive wanted to fly it for some wierd reason. Maybe its the thrill of flying low and slow by the seat of your pants, or the quesy feeling you get when you consider your one little weenie engine may cough, sputter, then quit any moment. Or perhaps its the pure adrenalin rush when you look behind you and notice a ME-109 cowling REAL closeby... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

PS. If anyone is interested, I happen to have a pretty good mission of just the above last circumstances, a "Washing Machine Charlie" scenario. You are the grinning ME pilot however.

Washing Machine Charlie eh? Thats from M*A*S*H right?
Hehe, always fun to run into those U-2's. Last time I was in a 109E...

So I've got full flaps, radiators open for drag, struggling to stay slow to get a shot off... Yelling something like "Die wench!" as I blast off the MG-17's in an exchange with the tailgunner... Then...*PLINK!* And I loose my engine to a single MG hit...
Managed to shoot it down but had to bail! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

better fix the DM of that plane b4 making it flyable! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

right now it can gulp down all kinds of calibers and the engine is tougher to damage than the BMW 801 or the Twin Wasp http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif
