Yes, back in the ancient days of air warrior you had
to employ your own airtist who did a series of paintings
of the action and put them in front of you as quickly as
possible. With a really good artist you could manage up
to 60 fpd (frames per day).

No it just a pictures which Air Warrior 3 uses when it loading the mission back then

I was about to say...... can you imagine screens like that? Graphics that good in a sim? Welllll actually...we've got it practically that good.......and better with a litle PS.

Anyway by the time I started playing(98) it was $10 a month, and then free. Hmm, wonder what happened to those guys?.....
