nothing can catch it. and only k4 climbs faster. superior in high alt. and more maneuverable than ki-84 in low alt.

you heard it from me first.

Lol, is this your attempt to get people to put the C model back in their servers, because the Ta is uber?!?!?!

dont be surprised to see HFspit9s out turning your TA152 up at 12,000 meters and shooting you down. though i agree ta is deadly and much better now.

p.s. jug is devastating now up high too.

The D-9 is still faster, has a better climb and rollrate.
But I agree, the Ta 152 is a stellar performer. As it should be. But it cannot compete with the Ki-84 in terms of manouverability.

When it comes to aircombat, I'd rather be lucky than good any day!

For what its worth, I think it has the performance the it had in real life...it was supposedly a pretty formidable plane and in game now it reflects that.

I don't see the plane out turning the highly agile fighters like spits etc, but it is definately a tough contender and not to be underestimated.

Uber?

Is the D9 uber? I don't see the Ta outclimbing the D9 so far, so it would be difficult for me to call it uber.

Interesting...

now why must you accuse me of hidden agenda? i'm saying it as it is.

RedDeth,

it's possible the spit 9 will outturn the ta up high, but it won't be able to catch it.

Jug runs it down at 7500 meters... even in a climb. And believe me, you don't want a Jug walking with you.

Test stuff from now on.

Hayate:

Doesn't it makes sense though that the Ta152 would be faster up high? That IS where is was optimized for and by most accounts I've read was very close to being the fastest piston engined fighter Germany produced, excepting the Do335 push/pull design and some versions of the Dora. (at least IIRC)

Wouldnt say it is uber but I do like the new TA http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif had 790kmh @ 10680 out of it - overheats + vulnerability off http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif. Also climbs faster now which is cool too.

Ki-84 is still a better acrobatic plane than the Ta-152 but I feel very confident with the 152 now when I didn't before.

Its hardly uber...but I only consider the 109Z and a lesser extent sometimes the Ki-84 to be slightly uber...so my moderate Canadian ways probably take me out of the runnings for judging such things http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Most brand new pilots will still not fly the Ta-152...its still better for them to fly a La-7 or a Ki-84 first and then work their way up. Ta-152 does require some feel for the plane...at low and high alts.

Well Ta152 uber? Just killed 2 of em online, diff pilots both times i was flying jug.
No big deal killing them, i think it's very easy to say a plane is uber as soon you cant kill it...
